2. AIRPORT STATUS

The airport is open for international flights of civil aircrafts. An air frontier checkpoint of the Russian Federation operates at the airport.

3. AIRPORT DESCRIPTIONS AND INFORMATION

The Magnitogorsk aerodrome is a mountain airfield of class “B”. It has a State Registration Certificate and an Operational Status Certificate, valid through 17.04.2008. It can operate such aircrafts as Il-76, Tu-154, Tu-134, В-737-400(500), An-28, An-26, An-12, Yak-42, Yak-40, CRJ-100/2006 and other aircrafts of the 3-4^th classes and helicopters of all kinds.

The senior aviation aerodrome commander is the director of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise «Magnitogorsk air enterprise».

The aerodrome is located 14 km west of Magnitogorsk.

Geographical coordinates of the aerodrome check point:

·                    53° 23,6' northern latitude;

·                    58° 45,4' west longitude;

·              Airport absolute altitude –       436 m.

The airdrome compass variation +11º.

The magnetic track of landing 185°/ 05°.

The runway is cement/concrete surface, its dimensions 3250x45 m.

With these pavement classification numbers a regular reception of all aircrafts allowed for operation is possible according to the following operating regulations:

Paved runway, major taxiway (adjoining apron № 1), taxiway – 2, apron №1 (ramps 19, 20, 21) – operation of all aircrafts allowed for operation without any limits of  take-off weight and traffic load, for ВС В-737-500 with the annual daily traffic volume no more than 10 sortie per day.

The aerodrome is equipped with the lighting D-3 with lights:

• ОВИ-1 with МКпос.=185° and МКпос.= 05° (magnetic landing direction), with МКпос.= 05° low-intensity approach lights.
